A dozen Breckenridge businesses were recognized as SustainableBreck businesses by the High Country Conservation Center, which administers the program.
They are Colorado Mountain College, Innovative Energy, Mountain Outfitters, Outsider Breck, Patagonia, Petal & Bean (new location), Piante, Residence Inn by Marriott, Rocky Mountain Underground, Slifer Smith & Frampton, The Clothing Cooperative and The Crown.
The Breckenridge Tourism Office through the One Breckenridge program recognized eight locals and the staff from The Swiss Haven and the Lodge at Breckenridge for making Breckenridge one of the most welcoming mountain towns. The town-wide program is designed to train and recognize the impact of great guest service, by creating Guest Service Champions one local at a time.

Breckenridge – OUTSIDER, an outdoor lifestyle clothing & accessories shop, today announced its Grand Opening taking place on Saturday, Oct. 1st. The shop carries clothing, footwear, and accessories that are a combination of recycled polyester, organic cotton, sustainably sourced textiles, and ethically raised wool.
